Review Policy

Dear authors and publishers, thank you for considering me as reviewer of your book(s). If you would like to send me a book for review please email me at thinkingaboutloud@googlemail.com. I will carefully consider each request before accepting or declining it.

I write honest reviews and will always be polite. I will always give my truthful opinion.
I rate books on basis of a five star system, that looks like this:

The book was hot! Definitely go read it!

The book was great!
★ ★ ★
The book was okay!
★ ★
There are better books out there!

Don't waste your time with it.

If you have a certain time frame in mind you'd like the review published, please indicate so in your original email request. I do my best to read and review books in a timely manner. However, due to time constraints and other reading interests, it may take several months for a review to be posted. I usually publish reviews on my blog and on Shelfari, sometimes on Amazon, LibraryThing and Goodreads.

• Nonfiction related to Memoirs, Travel, Cooking and Women's Issues
• Historical Fiction
• Young Adult Fiction

I generally don't like to read and review:

• Romance
• Thriller/Horror
• Fantasy
• Children's Books
• Self Help
• Self published books

I have an e-reader and would consider to review e-books if I like.
