Hop hop hop!

Every Friday, join the Book Blogger Hop, hosted by Jennifer at Crazy-For-Books, and hop to some new blogs. The Book Blogger Hop gives book bloggers a chance to connect and find out what others are reading. Sign up at Jennifer’s blog so people can find your blog too.

If you visit my blog because of the hop, please leave a comment and link and I will be sure to pay a visit at your blog, too.

This week Jeniifer asks: "If you could physically put yourself into a book or series…which one would it be and why?"

That's a tough one. Or isn't it? Because I'd like to use the chance and become a part of my all time favorite book The Shadows of the Wind by Carlos Ruiz Zafon. It's set in a mystic Barcelona in the first half of the 20th century. Everybody in this book is a friend of books and shadowy things around books are going on. I mean seriously have you read this book? Then you'll know what I'm talking about.

Check out my new books here.

  5. Apologies in advance for my answer this week as it will not immediately resonate with the book blogger population which happens to be 99.5% female.

My choice is a book series geared towards guys which won’t enthrall the vast majority of my fellow book bloggers (who are almost entirely female) with the extensive discussion of powerful weapons and sexy milspec gear, beautiful women, eye-popping action sequences (with occasionally obscene violence), and the like.

But there IS something in my answer that just about everyone of the female persuasion can benefit from my decidedly “books for guys” post. Hop on over to http://www.howardsherman.net to find out what it is.

    Happy Hop Friday!

  10. Stopping by from the Hop.
Water science...reminds me of when my wife and I were in Portugal and Rick Steeves guide book talked about a water museum. We hunted it down and paid to go in, and it turned out to be just a giant cistern from the city's early days...no exhibits, nothing but a concrete hole in the ground.
